Dame Judi Dench Portrait Sitting

Dame Judi sat for a portrait to be featured in my Selah Exhibition at her home last month. The sitting gave me the chance to experiment with a series of interesting expressions and characters. The session lasting just over a short period of 15 minutes, I was able to capture a portfolio of truly spontaneous and unique portraits.

Recreating Saint Peter in Penitence (Ribera)

It’s not unusual for photographers to be inspired by other types of art. As you may have noticed there is a great deal of Renaissance Italian influence in my portraiture. Drawing inspiration from the Old Master painters like Caravaggio, Titian and Ribera.

Bob Gunton Actors Portraits Los Angeles

Bob Gunton is an American actor of stage and screen. He is known for playing strict, authoritarian characters, including Warden Samuel Norton in the 1994 prison drama The Shawshank Redemption, Chief George Earle in 1993's Demolition Man, Dr. Walcott, the domineering dean of Virginia Medical School in Patch Adams, and Secretary of State Cyrus Vance in Argo. He also played Leland Owlsley in Daredevil TV series, Secretary of Defense Ethan Kanin in 24, and Noah Taylor in Desperate Housewives.

Steven Berkoff is an English actor who has also enjoyed prominent success as an author, playwright and theatre director. Often cast as the ‘big bad’ in his films, he has appeared in the likes of Rambo: First Blood Part II, Octopussy and as Adolf Hitler in the TV mini-series War and Remembrance. Recently, you may have spotted him alongside Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara in David Fincher’s version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
