DEPOSIT/HOLDING FEE & BALANCE DUE
A 50% non-refundable holding fee is required to secure your session date and time. This holding fee reserves studio time, staffing, and preparation and is not transferable to cash refunds under any circumstances.
The remaining balance is due on the day of your session, prior to shooting.
Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bitcoin, and cash.
RESCHEDULING
All holding fees are non-refundable.
Cancellations:
Clients who cancel a session for any reason will forfeit their holding fee. No refunds will be issued. At our discretion, a studio credit/gift voucher may be issued, valid for future use.Rescheduling:
A minimum of 7 days’ written notice is required to reschedule.Reschedules with proper notice may be accommodated once, subject to availability.
Any reschedule made with less than 7 days’ notice will result in forfeiture of the holding fee, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
Repeated rescheduling requests may be declined.
In rare circumstances involving extreme weather conditions that materially affect image quality (e.g., unusually dark, stormy, or unsafe conditions), the studio reserves the right to reschedule the session.
If the studio cancels due to weather, clients may:
Reschedule at the next available date, or
Receive a refund of the holding fee.
Weather decisions are made solely at the studio’s discretion to protect artistic quality.
WEATHER RESCHEDULING
LATE ARRIVALS
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
Late arrivals will result in reduced shooting time, fewer looks, and fewer images, with no price adjustment.
Arrivals over 30 minutes late are considered a cancellation, and the holding fee will be fully forfeited.
No exceptions.
Failure to attend your session for any reason—including illness, travel issues, personal circumstances, or last-minute decisions—constitutes a no-show.
All no-shows result in automatic forfeiture of the holding fee with no refund or credit.
NO-SHOWS
Proof images will be delivered within 2 business days via a private, watermarked online gallery.
Final retouched images are delivered without watermarks.
If you would like Rory Lewis to curate and select your final images, a $50 / £50 curation fee applies.
This includes a 30–60 minute professional review, with a refined selection of the strongest images provided.
SESSION REVIEW & PICTURES RELEASE:
For clients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present in the studio at all times and remain within visual and auditory range.
A lounge seating area is provided where guardians may comfortably observe the session.
FOR PARENTS OF YOUTH CLIENTS
RE-SHOOTS & REFUNDS
Photography is a creative and subjective art form.
No re-shoots or refunds are offered for stylistic preferences, expression, posing, wardrobe choices, or artistic interpretation.
Re-shoots or refunds will only be considered in the event of a verifiable technical failure resulting in fewer than 100 usable, in-focus images.
No exceptions.
HOLDING YOUR IMAGES & RETOUCHING
Unretouched images are stored securely for 4 weeks following gallery delivery.
If image selections are not made within 4 weeks, files will be permanently deleted, with no recourse for recovery, re-shoot, or refund.
Extended storage may be arranged prior to expiration for $100 per month.
If Hair & Makeup is booked, services provided are natural, versatile, camera-ready styling designed to enhance facial features.
Client requirements:
Hair must be washed the night before.
Arrive with no makeup applied.
Any specialized styling, heavy makeup, or changes requested beyond the standard service must be discussed in advanceand may incur additional fees.
MAKEUP & HAIR ARTIST
1. No AI / Machine Learning Use
All delivered assets are strictly prohibited from use in:
Artificial intelligence training
Machine learning systems
Facial recognition or biometric technologies
No NFTs or Immutable Digital Assets
Unless expressly stated on the invoice, images may not be used in connection with NFTs, blockchain assets, or any immutable digital products intended for sale.
