Introduction

The United States Army is a diverse and proud organisation with a cherished heritage. ‘Soldiers of The Republic’ is a project focusing on historically documenting the modern United States Army in a contemporary reflection of historical portraiture of days gone by.

Photographed by Professional Portraitist Rory Lewis. This project aims to feature portraiture of the Army’s Leaders and Soldiers from a range of iconic Divisions, Brigades & Regiments. Each portrait will depict the unique identity of the soldier, detachment and rank.

THEIR IS NO COST FOR THE PORTRAIT, as long as you are happy for the image to be used in the exhibition. Rory also offers military portraiture if you are looking for a private portrait photoshoot, link to Rory’s portrait page.
