We are pleased to announce that a portrait of Actor David Warner (Titanic, Time Bandits, Omen) taken by Rory Lewis Photographer, has been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery London. The portrait sitting was David’s the first he has attended since Cecil Beaton photographed him in 1966.
Founded in 1856, the aim of the National Portrait Gallery, London is ‘to promote through the medium of portraits the appreciation and understanding of the men and women who have made and are making British history and culture, and … to promote the appreciation and understanding of portraiture in all media’. It is an absolute honour to have one of my images included in the collection.
