James Purefoy Sky One (A Discovery of Witches) Portrait Sitting Rory Lewis Photographer (London 2019)

A Discovery of Witches is a British television programme based on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, named after the first book in the trilogy. It is produced by Bad Wolf and Sky Productions. James Purefoy joins the cast in Season Two and I was commissioned to capture a character portrait for Press and PR at the London Photography Studio. Throughout the photoshoot we worked through several setups to achieve a series vivid and thought provoking images. The second series of A Discovery of Witches is currently filming ahead of a confirmed early 2020 airdate.
