Congratulations Rosanny Zayas — Cast in HBO Max's The Pitt, Season Three (Rory Lewis Photographer 2026)
Rory Lewis Photographer here, with some splendid news from the casting desks of Hollywood. My warmest congratulations to the wonderful Rosanny Zayas, who has officially joined the recurring cast of HBO Max's acclaimed medical drama The Pitt for its third season. Rosanny will play Physician Assistant Vera Delgado, scrubbing in alongside Noah Wyle and company at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center when the new season arrives in January 2027.
Deadline broke the news this week, and I'll confess a particular thrill in seeing the announcement — the photograph accompanying Rosanny's casting is one of ours, made at my Downtown Los Angeles studio just a few months back. There is no finer compliment for a headshot photographer than watching the work do precisely what it was made to do: land on casting desks, open doors, and introduce an actor to the industry at the very moment her star rises.
Rosanny was a joy to photograph. A Juilliard-trained actress with an MFA from the School of Drama, she is known to audiences from The L Word: Generation Q, Echoes, Orange Is the New Black and Elementary — a performer with genuine range and presence, and the camera knows it. My aim in that session, as ever, was not a pretty picture but an honest one: a frame that speaks for the actor in rooms she has not yet entered. It seems Vera Delgado heard the argument.
The Pitt has become one of the most celebrated ensembles on television, and Rosanny will be a tremendous addition to that emergency department. I could not be more pleased for her.
